Interesting Picture Captured (4) - 666 Carplate Number

lim peh ka li kong

A car may be a luxury to one person but may just be for transportation purposes from 1 point to another for another person.

Our cars are strictly to transport us and with the sure lose depreciation of the values of the cars, we are very much happy with what we own. (read small cars).

Some car owners are very particular with the car plate numbers and are willing to bid for the auspicious numbers for their car at a high price.

Numbers like 8, 88, 888, 168, 188 etc are not cheap to bid.

Owners bid for such auspicious numbers for their cars are understandable but lim peh saw twice, not once, cars with the following number plate:

666?
I wonder who will want to bid for such numbers unless of course you got the numbers while registering for you new car, then bo bian la.

To some people, 6 means "loke" which means "going down" in cantonese. Not very auspicious. But to some other people, 6 means "luck"!!! Luck luck luck, got good luck!!!

For some ppl, such numbers like 666, 444, 748 will 旺 'em but numbers like 333, 888, 688 will 克 'em instead so they need the opposite to break the so-called curse... haha sound like 风水 :P

You are right, guess the driver wouldn't have bought it if he is superstitious.

Wow, Feng-Shui somemore, you may be right. Certain thing harmful to one may be useful to another.

    MrDes
    You think so?

    Boh.Tak.Chek.
I was behind the car and did not have the chance to look at the driver.

Nothing wrong with 666 la, dude. Just that certain numbers and things will automatically trigger our mind to link with certain things.

    If lim peh see a car with 888, I will definitely think that the driver is a Chinese;

If I see a relatively old man hugging intimatley with a young girl openly, I will think of "Old Cow Young Grass".

If I see a PRC standing in Geylang trying to talk to each and every man who walks pass her, I will think of what most men will think, yeah me bad :(

But, this is just mindset, nothing right or wrong la, don't get too work out.

What is so good about a prime number? Can share share?

Nothing wrong then you "wonder who will want to bid for such numbers..." for what? What is there to wonder given that the country is majority Taoists and Buddhists and Muslims and Hindus and No-Religion who don't link certain numbers to certain things the way you link? Prime numbers are very good for encryption and Insects' evolutionary strategy. I love prime numbers, and 13 is the best, for reasons Lee Hsien Loong described best in his NDP rally: "Christians cannot expect this to be a Christian society... it was bound to provoke a push back from groups who held the opposite view which happened vociferously and stridently as a fierce battle [at AWARE]". Chinese say: Ice frozed 3 feet deep, surely not due to 1 day of coldness. My "worked up" is surely not due to your 1 blog article! lol

When lim peh see a car with striking pink, I wonder why the owner pianted it so?

When lim peh see a young chap with all the piercings at his face, I wonder why he did it?

    BUT nothing is wrong lor.

Nothing wrong, cannot wonder why meh?

Don't get too "over-heated" la, do come by more often to have a chat to release release yr tension so long as no politics, religions and racist issues involved, yes me very kiasi one :)

No, lim peh don't agree with you that "All men love young girls" la.

I don't like or I do like young girls is also my pasar la, dude lol.

Don't get too serious over blog la.
