Plants Plants Plants

lim peh ka li kong

Just when lim peh was going to work this morning, I saw our 芙蓉 Hibiscus Mutabilis 开花 again. There are quite a number of flower buds but only 1 blossoms so far. (click to enlarge photographs)

Beautiful white and all the buds around it

It can be seen that the edge of the petal is turning pinkish (from another angle)

芙蓉 Hibiscus Mutabilis is a flower which will blossom with 3 colours in a day, see my previous post for more information.

Had wanted to post and upload some photographs of our plants but somehow too busy, eh actually too lazy to do so (busy is just a lousy excuse) and really no mood to blog lately.

Anyway, managed to squeeze out some time and took some photos during the past weeks. Tidy them a little bit and tah-dah, here it goes:
Small flowering plant of name lim peh don't know Jasmine 茉莉花

I like the shape of this Jasmine

Know what flower this is?

Yes, it's a yellow Hibiscus

Unique Bougainvillea : Pink + White flowers

There´s this plant in our garden which lim peh fancy it very much and I normally will specifically show it to friends who come to my place : I call it "The Birdy Plant" as the correct name is so long - Euphorbia Bracteata (小鸟花 or 翠雀珊瑚)

Can spot the Birdy Plant?

Yes, you are right, it is indeed Jasmine and my CBL told me when she saw my post.

The other one may be related to Tacoma Stans but not too sure.

Our Hydrangea is still blossoming now, hope they can stay with us for a long long time.

    妳的绣球花是种在花盆里还是栽在土地里。我们上回种在花盆里超过一年都没开花,之后把它移种在土地里才开花不过也蛮久一段时间。
